Grimdark Underworld Fantasy with Dark Magi-Tech and Eldritch Horror
Sam Middleton is an English author of science fiction and fantasy, best known for his ongoing grimdark series A Tale of The Fromryr. His work blends cinematic science-fantasy with ancient magi-tech, political intrigue, and eldritch forces simmering beneath the fractured world of Aetraya.
A graduate of the University of Sheffield with a BA in English Literature, Sam built his career as a professional content writer and ghostwriter before turning his focus to fiction. Now working freelance, he spends only a fraction of the year in the UK, often vanishing abroad for months at a time—usually somewhere warm, usually with a stack of notes, and usually to hammer out the next chapter of his sprawling saga.
